simple goal setting

We all have goals. And many of us can claim that we reach them. But for those of us who don’t….

A few thoughts, and yes, you have heard them all before, but so what….

What exactly is your goal, and why? For example, do you want to make lots of money? Why? To have it in the bank, to use it for something in particular? The reason makes a difference to your thinking and motivation. Is it the money or the object that is the goal?

Is your goal written down someplace? How is it defined? Be specific, be realistic, be honest. Is it weight loss? How many kilos/pounds? Is there a particular reason for it- health, energy, basic good eating habits? Inches to lose? Fitting into a different size?

By when do you plan to reach this goal? Again, be specific. By what date?

How will you know that you have accomplished it? By the number of kilos/pounds lost? By the ability to purchase that new item?
